Reconciliation Retreat

This week thirty Year 3 and 4 students participated in a retreat as preparation for receiving the sacrament of Reconciliation. Led by 24:7 Youth Ministry, the students had a wonderful faith-filled day including a visit from Father Son and a shared lunch. The students are ready and excited for their First Reconciliation ceremony next Wednesday evening.

The power of a good book…

Last week Marcel borrowed a non-fiction book from the St Michael’s school library all about knitting. He shared this book with his very talented Nanna who created a ‘Knitted Burger Cat’. It is wonderful to see how a book can help bring characters to life and be shared with families. Thank you Marcel.

Aegis Visit

This week the Year 5 class visited the Aegis residents. There were many games being played and stories being read. The residents love having the students come over and the students get a lot out of the visit in return.
