LifeLink

Each year, Archbishop Costelloe launches the Lifelink campaign to raise funds for the Catholic services provided by Perth Diocese. We are asking students to bring a gold coin in the hope of helping others on Friday 14th June.

Schools were also invited to create a book of Love and Hope. The students have put in an amazing effort to create pictures, prayers and poems about love and hope and we have compiled them into a book which will be delivered to a parish in Perth.

A reminder that our reports will be accessible through the Seqta Engage portal. The site can be found at this address https://stmichaelsbass.coneqt-p.cathednet.wa.edu.au/ or by clicking the link on our school home page. Please ensure you are able to log in. For the parents of Preprimary students with no older siblings and new families to the school, a welcome email has been sent with instructions on how to set up your account.

Plenary Council

The Listening and Dialogue phase which was the first phase of the Plenary Council is now complete. The National Centre for Pastoral Research is continuing the deep listening process by conducting a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the submissions received. Using best practice in research methods they will identify the key themes that have emerged.

The second stage of the preparation phase of the Plenary Council begins on June 9, 2019. This phase will be about “Listening and Discernment”.

Discernment in communities and in preparation towards the Plenary Council will help to ensure that the Church is listening to God, listening to one another and considering the way forward as the People of God in Australia.
