Cross Country

Today we were able to hold our first event for this Term that included a larger gathering. The Year 3-6 students participated in our annual Cross Country running event down on the B.I. Congratulations to all runners who have been training and trying their best. Thank you to Miss Brescacin for her efforts to organise this great event and to all our helpers.

P&F School Disco and Hot Dog Lunch

The P&F school disco, typically held after school in the Hall, will be slightly different in 2020. The Footsteps Dance Company has been engaged to host St Michael’s School Disco during school hours to avoid large gatherings of parents at this time. On Friday July 3, the last day of Term 3, students will be invited to come to school in NAIDOC coloured casual clothes that are suitable for dancing in and to enjoy themselves in the Hall led by the Footsteps DJ.

Students will attend the disco as scheduled;

Kindy and Pre-primary: 10:00am – 10:40am
Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3: 11:30am-12:30pm
Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6: 1:30pm-2:30pm

Mrs Linda Ford will also be making hot dogs in the canteen for all students for lunch. If you are able to help prepare the hot dogs in the canteen, please contact the school to let Mrs Ford know that you can assist.

Giving Thanks

Lots of schools and businesses have had to review and change their cleaning practices in recent months. St Michael’s would like to acknowledge the work of our regular cleaner, Sue and our interim cleaner, Ingrid who are always busy keeping our school tidy and hygienic. Thank you for your efforts ladies.
