Acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander History and Culture with NAIDOC Activities

It was amazing to see so many students and staff supporting First Nations people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture in classrooms today. Students engaged in lots of fun learning activities about Noongar language, culture and art throughout the day. Everyone looked phenomenal in their red, black and yellow colours worn proudly and creatively. Great effort everyone!

P&F School Disco and Hot Dog Lunch

We had a wonderful time today at our daytime disco. Thank you kindly to everyone who helped make today a successful experience for the children, especially the P&F helpers who made our Hall look fantastic and to the Footsteps Dance company for leading the way. Mrs Ford’s hot dogs and sauce really hit the spot for lunch, all made possible by St Michael’s P&F.

A Message of Thanks

I’d like to take this opportunity to especially thank and congratulate Mr Powles on his Term as Acting Principal. It has been inspiring to have such a calm and responsive leader during Dr Galos’ leave and I look forward to continuing to support our team in Term 3.
