Year 4 Mass

On Wednesday morning, we were treated to a beautiful celebration of the Eucharist led by the Year 4 class. The Mass was centred around kindness and showing love to those:

  • who need a roof over their head
  • who need food
  • who are poor in spirit.

These messages were an important and timely reminder for us all. Fr Son shared stories of children in Vietnam who worked for 50c a day and the hardship they endure. As a school, we support foundations such as Caritas, LifeLink and St Vincent De Paul to help make a difference in the world and more locally in Perth. Thank you to Mr Caddy for organising and preparing the Year 4 class Mass and a big thank you to Mrs Albert and the choir for helping us celebrate mass.

EduDance and Awards Evening

During the week an email went out with information about the costumes for the EduDance concert. An email was also sent out with information regarding the change of format and how the evening will proceed. This year, it will be broken into two halves, with the junior classes doing their dance performances first, followed by the awards presentations and the upper classes performing their dance routines.

Class teachers for the junior years will be sending out additional information about dropping students off before the concert and picking up after the performance.

Vinnies Christmas Appeal

Thank you once again for the kind donations that are flowing in for the Vinnies Christmas Appeal. The students get excited to see the donations, gather them up and prepare them for packing. I can only imagine the joy it will bring to families receiving the items for Christmas.

This year we are donating the hamper boxes directly to a group of people, and as such, we are aiming to have complete boxes with all items ready to deliver. We have sufficient supplies of the items crossed out and require the remaining items to complete our boxes. Please keep this in mind when shopping over the weekend.
