Thank you to all who attended our first P & F meeting for the year on Monday night. It was wonderful to see a number of new families represented and lots of dads as well! 2020 officer bearers were finalised at the board and P & F meetings and are as follows:

The P & F are still searching for an event co-ordinator. We have many people in place who are willing to help and a plan this year to allocate certain year levels to each event who will be responsible for organising the event. We just need someone to co-ordinate the volunteers. Please see myself or Tanwyn if you are interested.

Please note that the P & F welcome event has been postponed again until Friday 20th March. Please note this is a different date to the one sent in this week’s text message. Thank you for your patience with this. The event will be a family movie night at the school and Year 2 parents have been allocated the co-ordination responsibility. More information will be provided in the near future.

The next P & Meeting will be on Monday 16 March at 7.15pm. At this meeting we will be discussing ideas for an additional summer uniform option for girls who may not feel comfortable wearing a dress. Please come along and contribute your ideas and opinions to the discussion.

Parent Sacramental Workshops

Thank you to all those parents who attended the Reconciliation sacramental workshop on Monday night. However, overall the attendance numbers were poor. A reminder that attendance at these workshops by at least one parent of each child is expected by the parish and school as a vital part of the preparation program. Attendance at this weekend’s commitment Masses at the parish are also compulsory.

Kindy 2021 Enrolment Interviews Starting Soon

Shortly I will be commencing 2021 kindergarten enrolment interviews for all new families and the Assistant Principals will interview existing families early in Term 2. Places are limited so please spread the word to hand enrolment forms in over the next few weeks. If any existing families have a child who will be in kindy next year, please ensure that you submit an application form asap so that you don’t miss out on a place.

A reminder that we have Ash Wednesday Mass this coming Wednesday 26 February at 9am in the church. All are welcome.

On Wednesday 26 February we will be having an evacuation drill in the morning. Please follow the instructions of staff if you are onsite during this time.

A reminder that next Friday 28 February is a student free day.
