Message from the Principal – Newsletter 37
Our AGM was held on Monday night and I would like to thank those who attended. My Principal’s report can be found on our school website under ‘Compliance’. A special thank you to Glenn Hall and Adrian Morin who conclude their terms on the School Board and Warren Wright and Alia Nikoloski who have stepped down from their roles as President and Secretary of the P & F. Each has put in a great deal of time, dedication and passion into their roles on the Board and P & F and we sincerely appreciate their efforts! The first board and P & F meetings of 2019 are scheduled for Monday 18th February at which time they will both organise executive roles for the year. The P & F are looking for a new President and Secretary so please consider volunteering for one of these positions. The Board members for 2019 will be:
P & F Rep TBC
Congratulations to Elliott and Dave who we welcome on to the board for the first time!
As presented at the AGM, the 2019 school budget has now been finalised. Please note that the board has decided to raise tuition fees by 2%, in line with CEWA recommendations. An updated fee schedule can be found in this newsletter.
Year 6 Dinner Dance
Thank you to all the parents who co-ordinated the Year 6 Dinner Dance on Wednesday night – the hall looked spectacular and a memorable evening was had by all! Thank you also to Miss Katherine Riolo for creating a beautiful slideshow of memories for the Year Six students and their families to enjoy.
Updated School Website
Earlier this term, we had a professional photographer visit the school to take some marketing photos for us. We have updated our school website photos so please go and have a look:

Road Safety Around the School
We have had reports that some parents are using the school driveway on James St to turn their cars around in the morning which is potentially dangerous for students walking and riding to school on the footpath. We ask parents to please take the extra seconds to drive around the roundabout to ensure student safety. Thank you for your support with this.
We hope to see you all at our awards and concert night on Monday evening which commences at 6pm. Please see the map in the Assistant Principals’ section for details about seating arrangements. Our Year 6 Graduation Mass commences at 9am in the church Friday and the Edu-Dance concert commences at 2.20pm on Friday.
Take care and God bless
