Term Three, Number 29 - 18 September 2020
Interschool Athletics Carnival
Congratulations to all students who represented our school at the Interschool Athletics Carnival today. The results were not available at the time of publication of this newsletter; however, we were proud of the way in which they tried their best and demonstrated good sportsmanship.
During the school holidays, CEWA will release our budget figures for 2021 and we will be using these figures to prepare our 2021 budget early in Term 4 ready to present at our AGM. We require accurate student numbers to prepare our budget, hence, if your child will not be attending St. Michael’s in 2021, can you please notify reception in writing by the end of this term on email@example.com (with the exception of current Year 6 students).
Catholic Performing Arts Liturgy
Yesterday, Mia and Augustin in Year 6 joined me at St. Mary’s Cathedral to represent St. Michael’s at the Catholic Performing Arts Liturgy. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was a much different event than previous years, yet still a beautiful celebration led by Bishop Gerard Holohan.
