Making Jesus Real

A key part to discovering Christ in our lives is reflection. In our busy lives, we are often so rushed and going from one thing to the next that we find ourselves time poor. But, sometimes we need to slow down and make time to reflect. As written in the Bishop’s Mandate, parents are the first educators and we, as schools, support parents in the spiritual growth of their children.

Below are some questions to guide reflection with your children to help see who made Jesus real this week.

Student Award: Audrey J
Audrey greets with a smile, using names and looks people in the eye. Audrey epitomises WESTy characteristics as she is pleasant, caring, friendly girl. Most importantly, Audrey is always happy to assist those around her, quietly and selflessly without any fuss or agenda!

Year 6 Netball Team

Congratulations to the Year 6 netball team who finished top of the ladder. A huge effort and just reward for the training and effort they put in during the year. They could be seen running around the school early in the morning as Mrs Scotford and Mrs Hughes encouraged them to push harder. Thank you to Mrs Scotford and Mrs Sheridan for managing the Year 6 team and to all the parents involved in the St Michael’s netball community.
